About your host, Elise:
I am Elise Turcaud, the founder of Chalet du Bois Melay and your host. I am an entrepreneur, travel curator, and mother.
In 2020, I created Pointe de sel, a travel and chalet rental agency with the ambition of offering unforgettable experiences during your stays in the Alps.
Alongside the development of Pointe de sel, I began in 2021 an extensive renovation project of Chalet du Bois Melay. This former “vintage” chalet has been completely transformed into a place that combines modernity, chic style, and comfort.
Passionate about the mountains, nature, and skiing, Chalet du Bois Melay in La Plagne is, to me, a place of inspiration and rejuvenation.
My wish is to make it a vibrant home, where you feel at ease, breathe, share, and open yourself to beauty — whether through the contemporary art pieces displayed in the chalet or the music of the piano in the living room, which I love to play whenever I get the chance.
